Jean McGran is a lifelong Norwich resident who joined the Bank in 2017 as a Regional Sales and Service Manager with over 30 years of retail banking experience. She has since been promoted to Member Experience Market Manager and First Vice President. Jean works on countless initiatives in the retail banking department, and across the Bank. Recently, she led the planning and facilitation of the Bank’s Career Fairs.
Like so many area businesses, hiring and retaining talent has been challenging. Jean and her team developed in-house Career Fairs as a way to encourage prospects to come in and get to know the team and environment where they would potentially work, and to apply and interview for a position in a less formal environment. Jean is a proud 2018 Chelsea Award recipient, and loves CGB’s commitment to the communities the Bank serves. She graduated from Furman University’s School of Retail Bank Management, the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce L.E.A.D. Program, and the New England Leadership Development Program.
She is actively involved in the community, serving as a board member at The Riverfront Children’s Center and a participant in the Relay for Life every year.
